Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Trieu Van Cuong paid a visit to and had a working session with Hanoi University of Home Affairs

On the afternoon of February 23, 2021, Mr. Trieu Van Cuong, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs made a visit and chaired a meeting held by Hanoi University of Home Affairs about its plan formulation and tasks implementation for the year 2021.

      On the afternoon of February 23, 2021, Mr. Trieu Van Cuong, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs made a visit and chaired a meeting held by Hanoi University of Home Affairs about its plan formulation and tasks implementation for the year 2021.

Accompanying the delegation were Mr. Vu Dang Minh, Chief of the Ministry Office; Ms. Nguyen Bich Thuy, Director of Planning and Finance Department; Mr. Lai Duc Vuong, Director of Department of Training for Civil servants; Mr. Chu Tuan Tu, Director of International Cooperation Department; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Van, Director of Institute of State Organizational Sciences; Ms. Truong Thi Lien, Deputy Director of the Organisation and Personnel Department; Mr. Tran Xuan Hien, Deputy Director of General Affairs Department and some of specilists from units under and directly under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Giving a warm welcome and working with the delegation were Assoc Prof. PhD. Nguyen Ba Chien, Secretary of the Party Committee, the Rector; Assoc Prof. PhD. Tran Dinh Thao, President of University Board of Trustees; PhD. Le Thanh Huyen,  the Vice Rector; Assoc Prof. PhD. Nguyen Quoc Suu,  the Vice Rector along with the heads of units under and directly under the university.
Mr. Chien was presenting the report at the meeting.
At the meeting, Mr. Chien gratefully express his thanks to the Deputy Minister Cuong and the leaders of departments and units for having always been paying their meticulous attention to the university's activities. At the same time, he also reported on its activities in 2020, the implementation of its plans for the year 2021 as well as evaluated its advantages and disadvantages in the performance  process so as to propose a number of recommendations to leaders of the Ministry of Home Affairs. As for the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic before, during and after the Tet holiday, he maintained that the university has effectively controlled it and actively applied online teaching methods for the whole post- and undergraduate students in the University.

In 2021, it will continue to deploy advanced training programs, innovate and update the content of textbooks on management sciences in order to train high-quality human resources meeting the demand of good-quality human resource for public services and society. Also at the meeting, many opinions given by the leaders of functional departments had put forward, greatly contributing to the development of the University to be able to make it deserve to be a prestigious and quality training institution satisfying the requirements of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Interior industry and the society.
To sum the meeting up , Mr. Cuong acknowledged the efforts of the entire leadership team and employees in the past year while instructing the University Board of Directors to effectively implement the 2021 tasks besides ensuring the safety and prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic.
What's more, he also emphasized that the university should attach the special importance to and synchronously deploy a number of pivotal contents such as upgrading facilities, promoting public investment, innovating teaching and scientific research activities and so on. On this occasion, he also required functional departments to promptly advise and remove difficulties in order to create the best conditions for the development of the Hanoi University of Home Affairs on the basis of ensuring the regulations of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the laws. Similarly, the university needed to make the further efforts to affirm its prestige and brand name worthy of a long history of 50 years of construction and growth.
