Hanoi University of Home Affairs cooperates with businesses to create jobs for students

On the afternoon of September 24th, 2020, the Faculty of Human Resource Management and the Human Resources Club, Hanoi University of Home Affairs organized a fact-finding visit for 50 students from many academic disciplines of the University to the Misa Joint Stock Company with the aim of exchanging the professional practice training cooperation program, academic knowledge and job creation for students.
During the visit, the students have the opportunity to learn about the type of organization, management structure in the enterprise; the model of organizational governance, human resource management and issues posed on human resource training in the context of globalization, international integration and the impact of the 4.0 Technology Revolution. After the visit, they can also enrol on vocational training courses or/and do 2-6 month voluntary internships at the enterprises funded by Misa according to their learning abilities and capacities.
The fact-finding visits to business are always necessary for the students
Over 25 years of establishment and development, Misa has been known as the leading information technology enterprise in the country with more than 2000 employees, over 2 million customers, 1 center, 1 training institute and 06 offices all around the country. Welcoming the delegation, on Misa's side were Mr. Nguyen Phi Nghi - the Director of Misa Office in Hanoi, Ms. Bui Ngoc Ha - the Head of Human Resource Management Department, and Ms. Nguyen Thanh Binh - the Head of Business Development Department and many officers and employees. On the side of Hanoi University of Home Affairs was Mr. Doan Van Tinh - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Human Resource Management, along with many lecturers from the Faculty of Human Resource Management and 50 students from its academic disciplines...

In the first part of the visiting program, all the lecturers and students were introduced by Misa about its businesses, its working culture, its management apparatus and its experience in human resource management; At the same time, they joined the program "Finding and recruiting the talents among students".
Following the program, the two sides exchanged views on cooperation in training, scientific research, knowledge and technology transfer in the coming time. Accordingly, Misa was ready to send highly experienced staff to practically train students; to transfer business management, human resource management, accounting softwares to the training; to receive about 50 students coming for practice, internship, doing part-time jobs every year; and to give priority to receiving graduates to work in Misa. Hanoi University of Internal Affairs would also promote cooperation with Misa in sharing knowledge; implementing applied projects and research topics; assisting Misa in human resources recruitment.
Mr. Tinh expressed his gratitude to the enterprise for organizing a meaningful program for his students.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tinh said: “The field trip and exchange program with Misa is an opportunity for the lecturers to grasp the reality and the business's needs. Thereby, the Faculty will do the research into developing training programs, innovating teaching content and methods; counseling and orienting careers for students with the aim of improving the quality of training to meet the learners and employers' needs. This is also an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between Hanoi University of Home Affairs in general, Faculty of Human Resource Management in particular with businesses for the practical interests of both sides”.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Tinh expressed his sincere thanks to the leaders of Misa Joint Stock Company for working closely with the Faculty of Human Resource Management and the Human Resources Club during the past 8 years (2012 - 2020). He also hoped that the cooperation would more and more develop and expand with many faculties and centers in the university in order to bring more benefits to the learners and meet the two parties’ needs.
