Deputy Minister Trieu Van Cuong had a working day  with Hanoi University of Home Affairs

On February 17th, 2020, at Hanoi University of Home Affairs (HUHA), Mr. Trieu Van Cuong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs made a visit and chaired the meeting with the leaders of HUHA.
Also in the delegation headed by Mr Deputy Minister were leaders from functional departments, units under the direction of Ministry of Home Affairs.  Assoc.Dr. Nguyen Ba Chien, Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of HUHA;  Assoc.Dr. Tran Dinh Thao, President of HUHA academic Council;  Members of the HUHA Directorate, Deputy heads and head of administrative and academic units and departments also joined the meeting.

Mr. Nguyen Ba Chien, Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of HUHA, on behalf of HUHA Directorate, reported to the Vice Minister and the Delegation on the results and accomplishments of HUHA in the school year of 2019. He also outlined in his speech the directions, tasks, and recommendations  for the upcoming period. The rector of HUHA stressed that, prompted by the needs and demands of Home Affairs Sector, Public Service and of the society as a whole on the high quality human resources in order to serve the cause of country industrialization and modernization, HUHA had been constantly trying to build  up and develope its human resources, promote HUHA position and reputation further in the national and international circle.

HUHA promised to continue innovating its goals, developping advanced teaching and learning programs, and updating the contents of scientific materials on univeristy education management so as to be able to produce high quality human resources for the demand on human resources of the civil service and society. Also at the meeting, the leaders of the functional departments voiced their opinions, contributing to the proposal and suggestions of the University in the hope of helping HUHA become more and more developed, deserving to be a prestigious educational institution of Ministry of Home Affairs, Home Affairs Sector and the whole society.

Making the final speech, Deputy Minister Trieu Van Cuong highly appreciated the achievements of HUHA in 2019. He also gave the directions on the task of Covid-19 prevention and control in Hanoi University of Home Affairs; the preventive actions must  be timely and effective because according to Mr Trieu Van Cuong, schools and universities are public places with students coming from different and various provinces, and the risk for the spreading of the COVID-19 in such places is very high.
Besides, issues such as material facilities, public investment, activities related to teaching and learning, scientific research, human resources, etc. of HUHA were also brought forward in the agenda this time with  Mr. Deputy Minister giving direct instructions and assigning  specific tasks to each functional department and each academic unit who in turn would work out the assigned affairs on the basis of law and regulations. According to Mr Trieu, HUHA has to always find the ways to further boost its position, its quality of teachers and students and thus also its prestige, deserving the future vision and reputation of HUHA.
