Lao students from Hanoi University of Home Affairs received gifts from the present giving program for international students affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

On the afternoon of September 8, 2021, at meeting room A104, Hanoi University of Home Affair, the Foundation of Steve Bui and friends gave support gifts to Lao students studying at the university affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Attending the event, on the side of the University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Dinh Thao - Chairman of the University Council, Representative of the Department of International Cooperation under Ministry of Home Affairs, the leaders of the Department of Student Affairs and the Department of International Cooperation and 3 Lao students.
On the side of the Fund of Steve Bui and Friends were Mr. Steve Bui - Chairman of the Fund - Japanese Delta E&C  Financial Investment and Consulting Group, Mr. Chanthaphone Khammanichanh - Lao Counselor in Vietnam, Mr. En Tara Tham -  Cambodian Counselor in Vietnam, Mr. Dang Thanh Phuong - Deputy Head of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Vietnamese Overseas of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Ms. Vu Chi Mai - Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Relations, Science and Technology under the State Committee of Vietnamese Overseas.
Here, Mr. Thao thanked the Foundation of Steve Bui and Friends for their interest in sharing and supporting Lao students studying at Hanoi University of Internal Affairs. He also said that both mental and physical encouragement helped them overcome difficulties more confidently during the period of isolation to gain their effective results in the learning process in Vietnam. Mr. Steve Bui from the Fund of Steve Bui and Friends wished to always cooperate with the University and the community in social security activities to spread human values ​​to the community of International friends living and studying in Vietnam.
Speaking at the event, Lao Counselor Chanthaphone Khammanichanh emphasized "During the complicated development of the Covid-19 pandemic, these essential gifts are both material and spiritual encouragement to share difficulties and help poor students study with peace of mind to achieve high results as well as show the solidarity and friendship between the Vietnamese people and international friends."
Representative of the Lao students was moved by the support gifts and thanked the University, the Fund of Steve Bui and friends for their interest in the process of living and studying here as well as look forward for many other difficult students by the Covid-19 pandemic to receive the same help to overcome the pandemic together.
The program was conducted quickly to ensure safety and distance and compliance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health and regulations on the prevention of Covid-19 pandemic.
